BLURB

Tessa Chauncy is the best kind of trouble. Beautiful, sweet and completely off limits. I’ve sat by and watched other men drool after her and forced myself to stay in check. Hey, I’m in the NHL... I have self-control in spades.

Except when it comes to her.

With the bat of her lashes and quick whip of that sharply pointed tongue Tessa can knock grown men to their knees. I’ve seen them wither and crumble under her confident stare— something I’m pretty sure she learned from sparring with me, thankyouverymuch.

But I’m not just falling for her. I’m down for the count.

She’s the girl I wanted, when wanting her was wrong.
She’s also my new roommate--
And oh yeah, my best friend’s little sister.

Heaven help me, I’m probably going to get his fist to my face or his hockey stick shoved in very dangerous places for what I’m about to do, but I don’t think I care anymore.

I’m in love with my best friend’s little sister….and I’m done waiting.

I must start by saying that I read books without order again, I think I have become a spoiler myself hahaha, this is the third book in a series and I must read the previous ones soon.

I liked the story, it's not one of my super favorites but I think it fulfills its function of entertaining and keeping you reading for a few hours.

I personally felt that the story didn't quite grab me as I read how Jason did everything to convince Tessa to move not only to another city and country but to her apartment with him. I didn't feel much of a connection and rather felt like at first he wanted to organize Tessa's life and didn't give her much space and time to think about and decide what she wanted to do after what had happened with her ex. Tessa's brother and his wife weren't much help either since they were constantly interfering to make her decide to stay with them and they even used the baby to convince her.

I would have liked Tessa to make her decisions more freely and without so much pressure, but after living with Jason that's almost impossible.

I liked that even when they tell how much they are attracted and want each other, nothing happens and everything flows slowly but with a sexual tension that makes the story keep you trapped and wishing for that moment to finally see them together and happy.

The fact that this whole story takes place with hockey and strong, handsome boys is undoubtedly a plus.

I'm looking forward to taking some time to read the previous books and I hope it's soon :)

I received an ARC on exchange for my honest review
Thank you so much to the author and Social Butterfly Pr
