SYNOPSIS

My one-night stand turns out to be my billion-dollar enemy.
Yeah, I’m screwed—and unfortunately not that way.

I meet a handsome man at the bar, the kind you only dream about. You know the one? He drinks his whiskey neat and power oozes from his suit-clad form. The night we spend together is perfect—I’ll treasure the memory for as long as I live.

Until I discover who he is.

Who’s the billionaire asshole trying to tear down my bookstore? My one-night stand. Correction: my rich, handsome, calculating one-night stand.

I hate his determination and his ruthlessness. I hate the way he smirks and the thick fall of his hair. But most of all, I hate that I can’t look at him without remembering our night together—a night he’s keen to repeat.

During the day, we’re at war.
At night, we’re lovers.

Sorry. I think they call it, ahem, fudge buddies.
The two things are strictly separated.

No funny business. No emotions.
And definitely no falling for him.

BILLION DOLLAR ENEMY is a brand-new standalone romance from author Olivia Hayle! Guaranteed to show you a good time, it has her trademark smart heroine and a filthy rich hero who is as charming as he's infuriating...

This is a new author for me and I’m in love with her work in this book.

Here we’ll find Skye, a girl who works in a bookstore that makes not profit.

One night while out drinking in a hotel bar she meets a man who will turn her life upside down.

Cole Porter is a millionaire who buys properties that he then turns into big skyscrapers. He and his company are going to give Skye and her best friend a lot of headaches, leading them to launch a proposal that will put them on the edge of their resistance both at work and in bed, It seems that what Skye has set out to do is an impossible mission and that Cole, having had an experience where he mixed pleasure with work and the result was too disastrous, is not willing to make the same mistakes again and it seems that whatever is happening between him and Skye is doomed to failure.

The reading is agile and easy to follow, I devoured this book and it left me with a very nice feeling and a desire to read more of this author.

The truth is that I started reading believing that it would be another book of this genre, but it has not been like that, the author created a story of contemporary romance with touches of eroticism and it is that the atmosphere that is the heart of this story is or happens in a bookstore with a protagonist with dreams of writing her first novel.

If I liked the book from the beginning, I keep falling more and more in love as I reading that the female main character is a writer in progress and work in a old charming bookstore that she’s trying to save from the big corporations and keep it profitable.

I can’t wait to read more of this author, big thanks to her and BookSirens for thrusting me with an Ebook, I voluntarily give my honest review.

Happy reading and until the next one.

About Olivia Hayle

Olivia loves billionaire heroes despite never having met one in person. Taking matters into her own hands, she creates them on the page instead. Stern, charming, cold or brooding, so far she's never met a (fictional) billionaire she didn't like.

A voracious reader of romance, Olivia picked up the pen a few years back and what followed was nothing short of a love affair of her own. Now she spends her days giggling at the steamy banter she's writing or swooning at their happily-ever-afters.

Smart and sexy romance--those are her lead themes.
