SYNOPSIS
Just Lark Wellington?
Well, it seems like the best idea Lark could come up with when his holiday-loving parents surprise him with a holly jolly visit he actively tried to avoid.
The lie?
He's engaged to his best female friend, Da’Nika Martin - after all she's the only person willing to go in on the crazy, last-minute scheme.
And now that we're talking about the snowflake white lie?
It just may cost him a lot more than coal in his stocking if he isn't careful...
Sleigh Bride is a short, sweet, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy that's jam packed with all new characters, all the cheer, and all the Christmas cookies you need to put a smile on your face this holiday season!
A holidays friends to lovers romance.
I love this kind of romance stories.
This one started with Lark and Da’Nika pretending to be engaged so he’s parents stop questioning about him been single during the holidays, but things gets a little bit more serious or real when they kiss on front of everyone and that wasn’t definitely not for the show.
This was a very good and enjoyable Christmas romance novella or that’s what it feels because is a little short, is one of those stories that keep the spirit of the season, and I cannot be more happy to read something to cherish me during this time of the year.
Start by just opening the book with Lark as Santa and Da’Nika as Mrs. Claus and the whole “engagement” was worth reading the whole book and I can’t forget his parents and their personalities, I just feel that Christmas is already here while I’m reading.
Oh and I love epilogue’s and the one here is so sweet and lovely.
Thank you to the Author for providing me with an ARC on exchange for my honest review.
