SYNOPSIS
An Arranged Marriage Standalone Mafia Romance.
The first time Cassio meets his fiancée, she calls him “sir.” After losing his wife, Cassio is left to take care of two small children while trying to establish his rule over Philadelphia. Now he needs a mother for his children and someone who can warm his bed at night. But in a world as traditional as his, choosing your wife is duty not pleasure.Rules have to be followed, traditions heeded. That’s how he ends up with a woman—a girl—barely of age. She may not be what he and his children need, but she’s lovely and a sweet temptation he can’t resist. Giulia has always known she’ll marry the man her father chose for her, but she never expects to be given to someone so much older. Suddenly she’s supposed to be a mother to two small children when she hasn’t even held a baby before.Giulia quickly realizes that Cassio isn’t interested in a relationship on equal footing. Her mother has warned her that men of power, like Cassio, don’t tolerate insolence. Tired of being treated as a nanny, Giulia decides to fight for her version of a happy family.

I finished Sweet Temptation and I'll just say I loved it. It was a reading that pleasantly surprised me. Cassio and Giulia have become possibly my second favorite couple. Cora has created a wonderful story with characters who suffer but grow up despite the betrayals and inconveniences they face.
Sweet Temptation has been a wonderful book. For me it has displaced the book of Remo which was my second favorite (Luca and Aria are my #1).
Casio and Giulia are an adorable couple. Cassio is a great father, concerned about his children and loves them above all. Giulia enters into the life of Casio and his children in an arranged marriage and in which she will change not just her life but the others too, especially Cassio and he’s children’s. I was delighted that Cora has created a character who, despite her youth, is very sure of herself and the responsibilities and duties that as a member of the mafia she is obliged to do, but facing her husband when she thinks it is convenient, I adored her.
And Cassio, oh my god, Cassio is a marvel of a man and a father, the devotion he feels for his children is impossible to resist even when he discovers a truth he already suspected but does not want to confirm.
With this book Cora has melted my heart and there is not a single paragraph that I did not enjoy and like. Maybe the age difference has been a plus in the relationship and coexistence of this couple and their children, and let's not forget Loulou, that dog won Cassio's heart.
Without a doubt Cora has surpassed herself with this book, it has been wonderful to read and it remains forever in my memory and recommendation 100%.
