SYNOPSIS

I was hidden so we could be safe.I survived so I could reclaim my life. Now, everything has been destroyed by the same evil always lurking in the shadows.Time is running out and my world keeps unraveling. All I can do is put my trust in the boy with the messy blond hair, icicle eyes and lips that tell lies. Can the Midwest Boys protect me?The body count around town would suggest otherwise. My job was simple. Keep her alive, make sure she follows the rules and keep her out of trouble. I’ll win back her trust and keep her safe no matter what it costs me. The girl with the purple hair and eyes that flare to life when I’m near are my undoing. She used to be my enemy. Now death and destruction are following her and loyalty has been stained by spilled blood. Someone waged a war against Rogue. It’s time to answer back. This is book two in the Midwest Boys Series. For the best reading experience it is recommended the books be read in order.

Oh my goodness, you guys are not prepared for that ending!!!

This author totally got me with #MNGirl (Midwest Boys 1), that book blows my mind off. It was everything and more and she tightened the story with a cliffhanger that keeps me counting the days for the release of book #2 (My #MNGirl), and guess what, I wasn’t disappointed at all.

This book is full of theories crossing my mind with everything that happened in Rogue, so many twists and turns of things from the past that definitely is affecting the people in the present. Things related to Ciaran and Saylor finally looking good and the heat between this two is been released with some very hot scenes in bed( oh my, I’m fanning my self here, Lol) and some romantic details (sometimes this boys melted and become like those cute and snuggled stuffed bears).

There’s some secrets that got revealed and surprise me because I never saw it coming, and then the ending left me with a big open eyes, mouth and thinking “now what”? It can’t end like this, Ashton can be this cruel with us, right?

There’s more books to come and for sure all the questions and things that hasn’t been clarified and brining to light needs to be on the next book, that’s where my hope is. So many theories rounding my mind and I can’t wait for the next book, which may be, or not be about Ci and Say ;) my mouth is zipped now :)

So just to finish with my chatting and thinking over here I’ll say that this author knows how to keeps you attach to every line in this book, with the twist and turns, the suspense on some situations only adds more reasons to maintain the interests on the story and find out how will everything turns out at the end.

Thank you to the author, Netgalley and The Next Step PR for providing an advance copy, I voluntarily given my honest review.
